I've gone through three elements now in ten years of infrequent smoking. The connection between the control and the element burns, creating a short. The rate of failure seems to be quickening. I'm honestly concerned about the safety of this thing.

I bought a new smoker (Brinkman) for 1/3 of the price of the stainless steel Meco smoker. Both times the element failed in the same place- where the rheostat fits on the heating element prongs.

This showerhead does indeed drench the user. I was drenched almost instantly, which is the intended purpose of the showerhead. The head's spray pattern is fairly narrow, so a lot of water is in a small area. I really liked the included arm, as it's a good 8-9 inches long. This places the showerhead almost directly in the center of our place's "pocket" shower. The upside to this is that there's much more usable room inside the shower enclosure, and much less water splashed onto the shower walls. It makes a small shower much more spacious and usable due to the narrow spray pattern, effectiveness at drenching the user, and better positioning afforded by the arm. Having a "dry" area in a "pocket" shower where one can stand fully upright and not under the stream of water to take care of showering needs is fantastic.

Granted, I haven't tried more expensive drenching rainfall showerheads except at hotels. After trying this one, I don't see a reason to get a pricier one, except for a super-spendy bathroom remodel where chromed plastic would look out of place.

I'm not going to mention installation since everybody else has tried it, except to say that a single wrap of Teflon tape on the wall pipe does indeed help.

I originally was going to go with the Diablo blade but found this one and decided to give it a try. While I've only had the Hitachi blade for a couple of months so only time will tell if it holds up as long as a Diablo blade will, for now I've put this Hitachi blade through a lot of use while building a completely new bathroom and this Hitachi blade has been great. It makes very quick, smooth, fine finished cuts and has a blade that it a bit thinner which makes it easier to be right on target with your measured cuts. From my experience with this blade I will tell you that you will not notice any difference between this blade and a Diablo blade that retails at twice the price. I think it's a great value for the price.

I have a bench mounted sliding compound miter saw in my shop that is used every day for everything from chopping off boards for shipment to fine miters on crown moulding, so I go through a lot of blades. I found that all my "good" blades were dull and needed to be sent out for sharpening so I bought the "cheaper" Hitachi to get me by until my sharpened blades were returned. I found it to cut as nicely as my higher priced blades and is still on the saw - even after sawing through a 16 penny nail by accident. It seems to possibly have a tiny bit of wobble but does not show up in the smooth cut. The price of this blade is just slightly more than I pay to have a blade sharpened so I consider it an excellent value.

The software does not work with my MacBook computer but I dug out an old PC and love the ability so save readings and print them out. Hopefully they will add Mac compatibility soon.

I hope the next one is better as I like the meter but if it is inaccurate it is of no use.

This was a nice lock set while it lasted. Both locks are completely rusted over from head to toe after about two years of being exposed to the weather. I expected rust on the lock shafts where the metal rubs against metal, but even the heads of the locks are rusted over. The chrome finish is not very durable and doesn't protect against rust. If you take the locks off after every use and store them indoors, then these will work great for you. But if you're like me and prefer to keep your trailer locked at all times to help prevent theft, then you'll probably want to look else where. I'm now looking for a set of stainless steel locks.

My factory receiver has an extra gusset plate along the sides, so the lock wouldn't fit all the way through -- it can only lock in the single position. I had worked in restaurant years ago that used this type of appliance for putting whipped cream on their desserts, and was always impressed with how easy it was to get a great tasting, elegant looking mound of "real" whipped cream, as opposed to making it in a hit and miss attempts with a chilled bowl, and a hand mixer at home.

I wasn't disappointed in the iSi's ability to duplicate that memory. It worked perfectly, and was able to produce real whipped cream for considerably less than a comparable amount of "fake" whipped cream from a frozen tub.

While once you have put your cream mixture into the unit, and pressurized it with the cartridge you need to use it all before it spoils ( at least 10 days with fresh ingredients ), and before you can re-open the pressurized unit, with as good as it tasted, that shouldn't be hard.

It's now been a couple months since I purchased the iSi whipped cream maker, and while I am still happy with the unit, I can't say the same for Axiom Gadgets where I purchased it. They offered a $25 gift certificate for me to take the time to write a 5 star rating for my experience with my purchase, which I did, but have yet to see the gift certificate, and no answer to email asking about it's status. In looking at other reviews of this seller I see that I am not alone. They often offer gift certificates either for 5 star ratings, or as compensation for poor service, but no one seems to ever get the promised certificates. So I stand by my opinion of the iSi whipper, but I would look for a different seller.

I bought the iSi dispenser after using the one my friend owned. Having used many other brand dispensers I still know why iSi is top of the line. The whole thing is solid and easy to hold, the tips work well, and I had n issue loading charges into it. It's everything one could want in a dispenser without the risk of breaking that cheaper models always have. If you're going to let others handle it, though, I would suggest getting some spare tips, because my preferred tip was carelessly stripped (the inner metal threading) by someone who didn't know how to use the dispenser.

The tripod seems to be of good construction. Light weight, but sturdy. I mounted a Canon T2i with a 180mm f3.5L lens on the tripod and it held the camera pretty stable. The BHO ballhead system works smoothly as advertised to position the camera and locks in place; it works great for positioning macro shots. You can nudge the tripod with a mount lens and it doesn't feel like it will tip over. I'm guessing it should be able to withstand conditions with light wind though I haven't tested this yet. It seems more durable and has better build quality than the Dolica AX620B100, which I also own.

The bag I think could be a bit sturdier. The fabric of the outer shell seems a little flimsy/flexible. But, the interior padding compensates to protect the camera equipment. The bags that I have seen have padding sewn into the outer shell of the bag, but this one has the padding fully detachable which might explain the flimsy feeling. There is enough space in the bag to store the 180mm lens attached to the camera body (though I not sure if would transport the lens that way) and probably two additional large lens or a few stacked on top of each other.

It looks solid for lighter camera with shorter lighter lens like point and shoot. I won't put my DSLR camera and my heavy lens on this tripod... just don't feel right. I got another Benro and the legs are twice the width. I'll just use it for my smaller or lighter camera.

I'm fairly new to the world of DSLR, having purchased a Canon t3i 12 months ago, but this combo met my expectations and more, as an amateur/hobbyist.
When taking my opinion into consideration, remember this is from the perspective of somebody just getting started =)
I got this for about $65 during a Lightning Deal, and I would've gladly paid $100 - 150 for it. (The bag alone costs a pretty penny if bought separate)

I've suffered with a hand-me-down tripod for a year, so I was blown away when I opened up this one and saw that: its pleasing to the eyes, easy to figure out and get up and working(didn't even realize the instructions were hidden in the tripod carrying bag in the zipper!), and with the center column extended, it's almost the perfect height for me (6 foot 2). Not sure how sturdy it would be extended to such height, but for days with nice weather or inside, I don't see it being a problem extended fully. My first experience with a ballhead, but like I said, even without instructions I got it all figured out in seconds, and it feels like it can handle more than enough weight for my needs. My first tripod with a Quick-release too, and I wonder how I ever lived without it; the plates never leaving my camera! It's super light, and the 3 angles you can extend the tripod legs is a nice touch; I'll be extending them all the way close to the ground for some low angle shots a lot.

The messenger bag is soo comfortable with the padded shoulder, and I like how I can hide the strap if I decide I want to just carry it around with the bag handle instead, although I'd doubt that would ever happen, since wearing this like a sling is so convenient and comfortable. While I agree with some others that I'm not exactly 100% happy with the amount of padding/stiffness/protection the bag may offer, this isn't much of a problem to me as I keep my camera in a cheap neoprene type of bag which only cost a couple $, and takes about 3 seconds to put on or take off, as well as all of my lenses in cheap neoprene protectors, so I feel confident my camera is just fine.

I'm not sure if the bag will replace my Lowepro Fastpack 100, mostly just because Im more fond of backpacks and the style and it doesnt scream "come rob me, I have a camera in this bag!", I will say that this messenger bag makes it so much easier to whip the camera out when something catches your eye and you're in a hurry to start recording/taking pictures, and the Lowepro backpack cost me as much as this whole tripod/bag combo! The messenger bag is also very spacious, well organized, and it looks pretty nice(matches the tripod carrying bag, of course). It's definitely the bag I'll use when I know a lot of spur of the moment picture opportunities will arise(such as during a Disneyland trip)but for hiking or walking around downtown or on vacation with friends, I'm not sure I feel confident with the messenger bag - just personal preference.

Ok, I read tons of reviews for different grills and finally settled on this one. When I saw what the burgers looked like tonight, I was super impressed. Incredible grilled marks and just totally visually appealing food. Even the buns.

But...

- Splatters
- General annoyance to clean

None of these grills are perfect. Each has its ups and downs. I've used both Foreman and HB before. I normally go through one of these each year or two since I use them a lot and eventually, they do get a little nasty looking even with constant cleaning.

Other issue, the stupid product sticker they put on this thing which took me 20 minutes to get off.

Instructions are short and sweet.

Still, over 10 years of guying indoor grills, I never saw anything look as good as what this produced, and yes, tasted amazing, cooked perfectly - big improvement over the Foreman ones.

Get your girl or boyfriend to clean it while you eat! lol

(update - getting harder and harder to clean with each use)

This little gem is better than I had even expected! I have used it for burgers and steaks. This is the next best thing to outdoor grilling. MUCH, MUCH better than George Foreman. I recommend it to anyone who doesnt' wish to grill out in the bad weather. Five minutes and you have a perfectly cooked steak. I use the sear feature and half way through flip the steak over and hit the sear button again so it has criss cross grill marks just like the steakhouse. LOVE the sear feature.
Cooked bone-in pork chops and because of the bone, the meat made kind of uneven contact with the grill and didn't cook quite as evenly as boneless, but still turned out okay.
A word of advise on clean up. Do NOT follow manufacturer's direction on using a single wet paper towel. I did that and it was a messy time consuuming nusiance to clean and food was cold by the time I got to eat. My method is tons better. Take a thick CLOTH kitchen towel get it good and wet with HOT water. Fold in half so it is double-layered and place on hot grill immediately after removing food. Unplug and simply walk away! I will let it steam for quite a while. Later when you lift up the lid because of the non-stick surface the mess just simply, easily and quickly wipes away after having steamed for some time. No trouble at all. Couldn't possibly been easier. Wish I would have thought of that when I was cleaning my Foreman. Try this method instead of one skimpy paper towel. The manufacturer needs to change the directon on that!
Also, the dripcup is a joke.. it doesn't attach and just sits there and easily scoots away from the drip spout to make a mess. It is a mystery why a beautifully designed appliance has this flaw. It is like it was an afterthought.
Would have been nice if they had included a recipe booklet as well.
Don't let a couple negative things discourage you from buying this.... I recommend it HIGHLY!!!! Try it YOU WILL LIKE IT!!!

I bought this pack to walk the Camino de Santiago in Spain. Since we were walking between villages and staying in hostels, etc. I didn't need to carry cooking stuff, tent or a lot of food. I did carry two sleeping bags (my wife had only a 22L bag). I had the two bags, a couple of changes of clothing, rain gear and some other miscellaneous stuff for a total of 18lbs. The bag rested on my hips well and I did not feel pressure on my shoulders. Over the five day hike the bag was very comfortable. The side pockets for water bottles are a little hard to use but eventually loosened up. The rain fly worked very well. We had a two hour drenching and it kept the bag fairly dry. During the same rain both my gore-tex shoes and North Face jacket failed to stop the rain. I would recommend that if you were going to be in more rain to have things you want dry in internal bags or to cover everything with a poncho. I also picked this bag because it was the right size for airplane carry on baggage. After flying Ryan Air (they are very picky about size) it passed easily...I might have been able to get by with a slightly larger bag but this one worked out very well. I am well pleased with it.

I purchased an Osprey Kestral 38 last spring after reading a zillion reviews, most of them positive. I needed to be extra careful, as I have some tricky back problems because of a rear-ender car accident (neck, upper back AND lower back). Taking on a backpacking trip was both a dream come true and a risky venture. I'm a true mountain loving/hiking fanatic, but whether my back could endure carrying a heavier pack was always a question in my mind. I'm only 5'2" and really needed something that would fit well, pack enough and be comfortable. Bottom line, my backpack trip in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado was a total success. I carried the pack 10 miles in, up some pretty steep terrain (20 RT) and the only thing that really hurt at the end was my feet. The pack is advertised as a day pack, but my husband and I spent two nights in the mountains. (I guess that makes me an ultra-ultra light packer?) My pack ended up weighing about 29 pounds at the beginning.

I highly recommend the Osprey Kestral. It is VERY comfortable and well made. I love the well-placed pockets that make things accessible while hiking, the padded hip and shoulder straps, and the hip-strap pockets. The rain fly that is sewn conveniently into the pack is a great idea! Now if only Osprey made good hiking shoes, my next backpacking trip would be even better!

I bought this pack to replace a beloved old Marmot pack that seemed irreplaceable in terms of fit and comfort. I've bought many day packs in many price ranges over the past few years, and always end up abandoning them. I bought the Osprey Kestrel 38 around Christmas for two week-long winter trips in Yellowstone, but really put it through it's paces during 2 weeks of wilderness day hiking in the San Rafael Swell in central Utah.

The s/m pack is a great size for my 5'8" height. It is capable of carrying all my gear for an extended day hike at high elevation with unstable weather, but would also work great for fast and light overnights, or touring in Europe. It is easy to load and easy to adjust. The pocket for the hydration bladder is very easy to access, and will accommodate a variety of sizes. The outside pockets and straps are in handy locations. The built-in rain-fly is a great feature, but I also appreciated that it could be removed to reduce weight.

I mostly wore very light clothing while in Utah, but since I was doing long hikes in unstable weather, I always carried plenty of gear including a minimum of 3L of water, food, rain gear, wading sandals and never developed any sore spots, even on my bony hips.

Fantastic pack!

Replacement product is great. A pain to install, but that's Ford's fault. It was necessary to remove the horn/airbag assembly (after disconnecting the battery!) and then removing the spring bars that are pressed to honk the horn. Other than that, it's pretty straightforward; just making sure to follow the path of the original one's wires so as not to pinch anything.

Switches are an exact replacement for my 1996 Ford Ranger and they nclude the wires. Although some reviewers pointed out that you can replace the switch alone by releasing the wiring from them, my wires were pretty degraded. If you need to replace the wiring too, then the easiest way is to pull the steering wheel. Disconnect the battery, wait at least 10 minutes, then pop the plugs on the sides of the steering wheel. Remove the nuts underneath and the airbag module comes right off. Set it aside, remove the nut holding the wheel (!) and use a steering wheel puller to remove the wheel. The new switches and wiring require no modification and fit like a glove. They also work perfectly and make your truck look "like new." The only criticism I have of them is that the backlighting is pretty dim, but I think the originals weren't much brighter. The price was very good (best I found), and it included free shipping. If your switches are cracking and falling apart then you should buy them right now.
